Giving thanks to the Lord is an act of worship! You’re expressing gratitude not only for what the Lord has done for you but beyond that gratitude to the One who changed your life! Giving thanks puts you in a position to receive all God has for you! But here’s the kingdom pattern – sometimes we must offer thanksgiving while we’re still in the struggle, while we still don’t know how this is gonna turn out, that’s the place we give thanks IN ALL THINGS. The Word of God doesn’t say to be thankful for everything, but in everything. We give thanks for who God is and His goodness, mercy and truth.
